In September 2017 Penta started the job of restoring and repainting the pool bulkheads and repainting the lane markers at Cindy Klassen Recreation Complex in Winnipeg Manitoba.
This year the pool was drained and as soon as it was ready we dove in and started working.
The bulk heads of the pool had become slippery and the fiber glass gel coat previously applied had begun to blister making it dangerous for lifeguards and instructors to walk on them.
This meant that the current finish had to be sanded off. It was then prepped and a 2 component epoxy paint by Sherwin Williams was applied. This included epoxy quartz seeded down to create a safe non-slip surface for walking.
After that the lane markers needed some freshen up. They were masked and repainted with a bold black that cannot be missed.
The lanes and bulkheads look great and the pool is ready to be enjoyed for many years to come.
All of this was done in 4 days and we have heard nothing but rave reviews from city supervisors.
“Amazing job, beautiful work! Jack busted his a$$, and we are so impressed!!”
